Your First Visit to a Visa Office in Hisar: What to Bring, What to Ask, and What You Should Walk Out With
Quick answer
For a first visit to a visa office in Hisar, carry your passport, all marksheets and degrees, Aadhaar, two photographs, and if relevant your driving licence, work proof, bank statement and any old visa or refusal papers. Ask eight questions: which route fits you and why, which routes they do not file, the employer or university's name, the total cost split into direct costs and fee, when the fee is due, how long it takes and when the current window is, what happens on refusal, and their registration. Leave with three things in writing: the route and its conditions, the total cost split, and the fee date. At Dreams Destination Immigration, SCO-166 Red Square Market, Hisar, the first sitting is free and the service fee is paid after the visa.
The first visit to a visa office in Hisar decides more than the visa. It decides whether you pay someone who has checked your profile honestly, or someone who has checked your wallet. Most people walk in with nothing, listen for twenty minutes, and walk out with a verbal salary figure and a date to bring money.
This guide turns that around: what to carry, the eight questions to ask whoever sits across the desk, and the three things you should have in writing before you leave. It applies to our office at Red Square Market as much as to any other.
Before you go
- Decide what you are asking about. Study, work or tourist. "Kuch bhi, bas bahar jaana hai" gets you sold whatever the office is pushing that month.
- Know your own numbers. Age, last qualification and percentage, years of gap, how much the family can put in the first year, whether you hold a driving licence, whether you have ever been refused a visa.
- Go in person once. WhatsApp is fine for everything after, but the first sitting needs originals on the table and a desk you can find again.
What to bring
| Everyone | If it applies to you |
|---|---|
| Passport, or the application receipt if it is being made | Driving licence (Dubai rider and driver jobs) |
| Every marksheet and degree from 10th onward | Proof of work: salary slips, appointment letter, business papers |
| Aadhaar | Farming income: fard or jamabandi, J-forms (Canada visitor files) |
| Two passport photographs | Recent 6-month bank statement |
| Marriage certificate (couple files) | |
| Any old visa, refusal letter or deportation paper |
Bring originals. A consultant who never asks to see an original is not planning to check anything. A country-by-country list for study files is in the study visa documents checklist.
The eight questions
Ask them in order and write the answers down.
- "Which route fits me, and why?" The answer must mention your age, marks, gap or licence. A route named without reference to your profile is a product, not advice.
- "Which routes do you not file?" Every honest office has a list. Ours: PR, Canada/UK/USA/Australia study and work, visit visas to be converted.
- "Who is the employer or the university?" By name, in writing, before any payment. Italy: the Nulla Osta; Dubai: the offer letter and contract; study: the admission or invitation letter.
- "What is the total cost, and how is it split?" Direct costs (tuition, embassy fee, medical, translation, ticket) separate from the consultant's own fee.
- "When is your fee due?" After the visa is the right answer. Full fee in advance is the wrong one.
- "How long does it take, and is the window open now?" Germany's seasonal date, Italy's click days, Dubai's interview dates, the September intake for Europe study. "Any time" is not an answer.
- "What happens if the visa is refused?" Which costs come back, which do not, and whether the file is reviewed before any refiling. See what to do after a visa refusal.
- "Are you registered?" For Gulf jobs, Ministry of External Affairs registration of the recruiting agent and emigration clearance for ECR passports. For any agent in Haryana, registration under the state's 2025 travel agents law. Ask to see it.
Three things to leave with, in writing
- The route and its conditions. Country, permit or course, age and gap rules that apply to you, the intake or window.
- The total cost, split. Direct costs and the fee, line by line.
- The fee date. After the visa, on paper.
If the office will not put these three on paper, you have your answer, and it cost you nothing but an afternoon.
What a free first sitting should cover
At our desk the first sitting is free and runs like this:
- Profile: your numbers, written down.
- Honest eligibility: which of our routes are open to you, and which are closed and why. Sometimes the answer is "none of ours", and we say so.
- Two or three options with the written first-year cost of each. Study packages are ₹2–5 lakh; work routes are quoted per route.
- No payment. You go home, talk to the family, and decide. The file opens when you come back, not that day.
How we counsel before any paperwork is described on the overseas education consultant in Hisar page, and our fee model in pay after visa.
Red flags inside the office
- A "registration fee" before anyone has looked at your marksheets.
- A salary figure before an employer's name.
- A guarantee of any visa.
- A visit visa suggested for work or study.
- No receipt book.
- The person who counsels you is not the person whose name is on the board, and that person is never there.

Frequently asked questions
What documents should I take to a visa consultant for the first meeting?
Passport (or the application receipt if it is being made), every marksheet and degree from 10th onward, Aadhaar, two passport photographs, and if they apply: driving licence, proof of work or farming income, a recent bank statement, marriage certificate for couple files, and any old visa, refusal letter or deportation paper. Originals, not only photocopies, so they can be checked once.
Is the first counselling free at a visa office in Hisar?
It should be, and at Dreams Destination it is. A consultant who charges a 'registration' or 'file opening' amount before telling you which route fits is charging you for information you need in order to decide whether to hire them.
What should I ask a visa agent before paying?
Which route fits me and why; which routes you do not file; the employer's or university's name; the total cost split into direct costs and your fee; when the fee is due; how long it takes and when the current window is; what happens if the visa is refused; and your registration. Then ask for the route, cost and fee date in writing.
Should I tell the consultant about an old visa refusal?
Yes, on the first visit, with the refusal letter. Embassies see earlier applications; hiding one destroys an otherwise good file. A refusal is not automatically a bar, but it changes how the new file is built.
Where is the Dreams Destination visa office in Hisar and when is it open?
SCO-166, 2nd Floor, Red Square Market, Hisar, Haryana. Monday to Saturday, 10:30 to 18:30. Walk-ins welcome; WhatsApp 80590-77721 or call 99968-67744 to fix a time if you are coming from Hansi, Barwala, Adampur or further.
Visa office mein pehli baar jaayein to kya le kar jaayein aur kya poochhein?
Passport, 10th se aage ki saari marksheets, Aadhaar, 2 photo, aur agar hai to driving licence, kaam ya kheti ka proof, bank statement, purana refusal letter. Poochhein: mere liye kaun sa route aur kyun, kya nahi karte, employer/university ka naam, total kharcha aur aapki fee alag-alag, fee kab, kitna time, refusal par kya. Likha hua le kar niklein.
