Travel Agent, Visa Agent, Visa Consultancy or Immigration Lawyer: Who Does What in Hisar

By Dreams Destination Counselling Desk ·

Quick answer

In Hisar four kinds of business handle 'visa' work. A travel agent sells tickets, hotels and tour packages and can fill a tourist visa form; it is the right place for a holiday, the wrong place for a work or study file. A visa agent files the form for a route you have already chosen; good for simple, repeat files, but it does not check whether the route fits you. A visa consultancy checks eligibility first, names the university or employer in writing, builds and files the documents, prepares you for interviews and supports arrival — the right choice for study visas, work permits and first-time or refused tourist files. An immigration lawyer handles appeals, refusals with legal grounds, deportation and PR law, usually from Chandigarh or Delhi, at lawyer's rates; a routine file does not need one. Dreams Destination Immigration at Red Square Market is a visa consultancy: study, work and Canada tourist files, fee after the visa, PR and legal appeals not handled.

Walk down Delhi Road or around Red Square Market and the boards say Travels, Visa Services, Immigration, Overseas Consultants, Study Abroad. In Hisar these words are used for four quite different businesses, and most people pick one by the board rather than by what the file needs. This post sorts them out: what each does, what each is right for, and what each should never be paid for.

The four, side by side

Travel agent

The ticket counter. Good at fares, dates and a hotel for a holiday, and can fill a tourist visa form for a country that gives visas easily. The agent does not know, and is not paid to know, whether your profile will pass a Canada visitor file built on farming income, or whether a Moldova university accepts a 15-year gap.

Use one for: flights after the visa, a Dubai or Thailand holiday package. Do not use one for: a work permit or a study visa. There is no employer and no admission at a ticket counter. Under Haryana's 2025 travel agents law, anyone sending people abroad for work needs registration, and Gulf jobs need a Ministry of External Affairs licence; a ticketing office rarely has the second.

Visa agent

Files the form for a route you have already picked. If you have an admission letter from a university your cousin studied at, and all documents ready, an agent will submit it for a flat fee and that is fair value.

The weakness is the first question. An agent asks "which country?". If the honest answer is "whichever I can get", you have come too early — the choice of route is the decision that matters, and the agent is not paid to make it. The six checks that apply to any agent are on visa agent in Hisar.

Visa consultancy

Starts one step earlier. The first question is "what is your qualification, gap, age and budget?" — and only then which routes are open. From there the consultancy names the university or employer in writing, builds the documents, files, prepares you for any interview, and stays on the file until you have arrived and registered.

That is the right service for:

  • Study visas, where course, country and intake are chosen before the form exists.
  • Work permits, where the employer must be named first — Nulla Osta for Italy, offer letter and contract for Dubai.
  • Tourist visas with any weakness — first-time traveller, farming income, an old refusal.

It is the wrong service for ticketing as a business, for PR, and for legal appeals. An honest consultancy lists what it does not file; ours is on the visa consultancy in Hisar page.

The one thing to insist on: the fee due after the visa. A consultancy confident in its files can wait for the result. Why that matters more than the fee amount: pay after visa.

Immigration lawyer

For law, not paperwork. A refusal that turns on a legal point, a ban, a deportation order, a misrepresentation finding, a PR or citizenship matter. This work is done mostly from Chandigarh or Delhi, at lawyer's rates, and a routine file gains nothing from it.

A consultancy worth the name tells you when your case has crossed into lawyer territory. We do: if a refusal letter cites misrepresentation or a ban, we say so and do not refile. What to do after an ordinary refusal — the common case — is in visa refused: what to do next.

How to tell which one you are sitting in

Three questions, in the first five minutes:

  1. "What do you need from me before you tell me the route?" Nothing → travel or visa agent. Marksheets, gap, age, budget → consultancy.
  2. "Who is the employer or the university?" "After payment" → walk out. A name, in writing, before payment → consultancy.
  3. "When is your fee due?" Full in advance → agent pricing in failure. After the visa → consultancy that expects to succeed.

Registration applies to all four under Haryana's 2025 law; how to check it is in verify a visa consultancy in Hisar.

Hinglish mein, short

Travel agent: ticket, hotel, package. Ghoomne ke liye. Work ya study ke liye nahi. Visa agent: aapke chune hue route ka form lagata hai. Profile nahi dekhta. Pehla sawaal "kaun sa desh?" ho to samajh jaaiye. Visa consultancy: pehle profile, phir route, phir university ya employer ka naam likh kar, phir file, phir pahunchne tak saath. Study, work, aur pehli baar Canada visit ke liye yahi chahiye. Fee visa ke baad. Lawyer: appeal, ban, deportation, PR ka kanooni case. Chandigarh ya Delhi. Aam file ke liye nahi.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a travel agent and a visa consultancy?

A travel agent sells travel — tickets, hotels, packages — and may fill a tourist visa form as a side service. A visa consultancy's whole work is the visa: checking eligibility, choosing the route, naming the university or employer, preparing documents, filing, interview preparation and arrival support. For a holiday, a travel agent is fine. For study, work or a first Canada visitor file, you need a consultancy.

Is a visa agent the same as a visa consultancy?

In Hisar the words are used loosely for the same shops, so judge by what they do, not what the board says. An agent files a form for a route you picked; a consultancy tells you first whether the route fits and what it will cost in full, in writing. If the first question you are asked is 'which country' rather than 'what is your qualification and gap', you are at an agent.

When do I need an immigration lawyer instead of a consultancy?

For legal proceedings: an appeal against a refusal on legal grounds, a deportation or ban, a PR or citizenship matter, or a case where misrepresentation has been alleged. Lawyers for this work are mostly in Chandigarh or Delhi and charge lawyer's rates. A routine study, work or tourist file does not need one, and a consultancy that is honest will tell you when your case does.

Can a travel agent in Hisar file a work visa?

Legally, anyone sending people abroad for work in Haryana needs registration under the state's 2025 travel agents law, and Gulf job placements need a Ministry of External Affairs recruiting licence. Practically, a ticketing agent has no employer, no Nulla Osta and no offer letter to give you. A work file needs a named employer first; that is consultancy work.

Which one is Dreams Destination?

A visa consultancy. We check eligibility first, name the university or employer in writing, file study visas for eight countries without IELTS, work permits for Germany, Italy and Dubai, and Canada visitor visas, and support arrival. We do not sell tickets as a business, do not file PR, and do not handle legal appeals. Our service fee is due after the visa.

Hisar mein travel agent, visa agent, consultancy aur lawyer mein kya fark hai?

Travel agent ticket aur package bechta hai, tourist form bhar deta hai — ghoomne ke liye theek. Visa agent aapke chune hue route ka form lagata hai, profile nahi dekhta. Visa consultancy pehle dekhti hai aap fit ho ya nahi, university ya employer ka naam likh kar deti hai, poori file banati hai, pahunchne tak saath deti hai — study, work aur pehli baar Canada visit ke liye yahi chahiye. Lawyer appeal, deportation, PR ke kanooni case ke liye, Chandigarh ya Delhi mein. Aam file ke liye lawyer nahi chahiye.
